Who We Are

Help Feed A Kid (HFAK) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity among children in Northern Haiti.

Our primary work focuses on providing consistent nourishment to vulnerable children and families facing economic hardship. Through community-based distribution efforts and local partnerships, we work to ensure that children have access to basic nutritional support.

As we continue to grow, HFAK is preparing to expand its impact beyond food access by developing structured opportunity pathways that promote long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Why We Exist

Our Mission & Future Vision

Our Mission & Future Vision

Food insecurity in Northern Haiti remains a persistent challenge, impacting educational outcomes, health, and long-term economic opportunity for children and families.

We believe that access to food is foundational, however, it must also be paired with structured systems that promote growth, workforce readiness, and sustainable independence.

Mission:

To provide consistent food support to children in Northern Haiti while building pathways toward long-term stability and opportunity.

Vision:

A future where communities are not only nourished, but equipped with the tools, structure, and support necessary to thrive independently.

We believe that access to food is foundational, however it must also be paired with structured systems that promote growth, workforce readiness, and sustainable independence.

Expanding Impact: A.V.A.N.C.E. (Georgia, USA)

In addition to feeding children in Northern Haiti, HFAK is preparing to launch the A.V.A.N.C.E. Pathway in the state of Georgia.

A.V.A.N.C.E. stands for:

Advancing Vision, Accountability, and National Credentialing Excellence.

This 18-month workforce development program is designed to prepare participants through:

• Structured professional standards
• Nationally recognized credential pathways
• Accountability-based evaluation
• Employer-aligned skill development

While our Haiti initiative addresses immediate nutritional needs, A.V.A.N.C.E. represents our long-term investment in workforce readiness and economic mobility.

The program is currently in development and will launch with partner and donor support.
