Dr. Yvanne Jean-Obei, Founder & Board Chair
I am a dedicated advocate committed to improving the lives of underserved children in northern Haiti, the region I proudly call home. In 2020, I founded Help Feed a Kid Inc. (HFAK), guided by our strong belief in the power of helping those who can use a hand.
As a healthcare provider, I have witnessed firsthand how access to proper nutrition and care can shape a child’s physical, emotional, and developmental well-being. My commitment to service extends beyond my profession and reflects a deeply rooted sense of purpose. Through Help Feed a Kid, I work to provide nourishment, support, and hope to children and families facing significant challenges.
I remain dedicated to advancing this mission and strengthening the organization’s impact through compassionate leadership, community partnership, and a steadfast commitment to creating opportunities for children to thrive.
Ms. ClaudMay C. Roy, Vice Chair
I bring more than 20 years of experience supporting organizations and teams across healthcare, human services, and nonprofit spaces. My work has centered on helping programs stay organized, strengthening communication, and supporting efforts that improve how communities access care, resources, and opportunity. My educational journey in human services and hands-on nonprofit involvement have shaped my passion for service and community support.
As Vice Chair, I am honored to serve alongside leaders and partners who are committed to meaningful impact. I value relationship-building, showing up consistently for families, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen communities in practical and lasting ways. I strive to lead with integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to service.

I bring more than 15 years of experience as a strategic communications and learning professional supporting healthcare operations through training development, knowledge management, and process improvement. My work focuses on turning complex information into clear, practical resources that teams can use with confidence in their daily work.
I have designed knowledge systems and learning tools that strengthen communication, support staff performance, and improve consistency across programs. I value collaboration and have worked closely with cross-functional teams to help organizations manage change, reduce risk, and enhance service delivery. I am committed to creating solutions that are thoughtful, accessible, and aligned with both operational goals and community impact.
